ABOUT US

Welcome to our page! We are a family owned business that opened in February of 2014. Our family has spent the last couple of years renovating this VERY OLD and BEAUTIFUL historical building. The building is approximately 160 years old and has been many things over the years; including (most recently) the town's public library. We kept some of the book shelves and most of the floors are original and have been recovered. 

Although our logo and many of our photos suggest we are a bakery and mostly serve sweets, our goal is to be a bake shoppe as well as a cafe. What that means is we offer baked goods along with tasty sandwiches, salads, and our soup of the day!

We DO accept special orders for cakes  (as long as it is within our abilites) and other baked goods. We don't have a vast amount of experience with fondant work so if you are looking for that type of thing, we are likely not the answer, unfortunately. That being said, we are very creative and willing to do fun things for you! 

Having a small business meeting or party? Need some yummy sandwiches, salads, soups or dessert platters? We got you covered! All that we ask for these services is 48 HOURS notice.

Sweet Temptations accepts call ahead orders, take out and we also offer a cozy atmosphere if you prefer to eat in. 

Right now we are mostly a two man team. We are Cathy Dionne and Emily Foster and we are mother and daughter. The two of us bake and cook most everything you will enjoy at our place. Some things we just finish up and put our own twist on! 

We are doing our best to add new and exciting things to our menu and trying to accomodate some allergies that make going out to eat difficult. We would like to, perhaps, add more gluten free options (among other things), but we are waiting to see where business will take us.
